Im in shock.. thanks to Eddie Jobson!

Eddie Jobson is a generous man.. that's for sure :)

Here's the story:
A few days ago I received an email from Globe Music - Eddie Jobsons record-company that Eddie has seen my drawing and that he LOVES it and want to use it as t-shirt designs for the three upcoming concerts in Poland in November.
John Wetton and Tony Levin is joining him as well :)

I said "yes, of course!" to this.. What an honour!

So.. in exchange for this Eddie want to invite me to Poland for all three gigs.. He pays every… Continue

Duncan Browne is underrated!

He deserves more attention!

Any fans here??

For those who don't know who he is look here: http://www.insyncnet.com/duncan/

I must say that he, along with Steve Hackett, Ant Phillips, Andrew Latimer and Jimmy Page is the reason why I play guitar.. I love his music :)
There are some videos on Youtube - be sure to check them out!

Duncan died in 1993 from lung cancer.. RIP Duncan..

Remember them? Eno , Phillips and the like....is there any videos out there to tribute them?? I thought "TNK" was an awesome song that they covered from the Beatles. I would appreciate any feedback...

Paramore serves up a mix of hard and sweet (The Kansas City Star)

Novelty can take you to high places in pop culture, but it won’t keep you there. At some point you’ll need talent and substance to sustain you. When the band Paramore arrived on the scene in 2005, it had the look of a novelty, thanks to its lead singer, the diminutive Hayley Williams, a 16-year-old mighty mite with a siren voice who combined a cheerleader’s enthusiasm with a biker-chick’s strut ...

Shine a light (Las Vegas CityLife)

INDIO, CALIF.-- Never once has the entire crowd at the annual Coachella Music and Arts Festival screamed at once. In fact, that's a hard feat, given the size of the Empire Polo Fields, the host site for the renowned springtime festival. But on Oct. 30, an hour before Vermont quartet Phish would play its first note, everyone on the field yelled in unison. You could hear them whooping in the food ...

Video: Grizzly Bear: "Ready, Able" (Pitchfork)

Setting: A bucolic, woodsy landscape. Characters: Emotionally expressive claymation blob things. Plot: Something about being sucked up into some sort of polygonal spaceship. This is a weird one, folks! Director and artist Allison Schulnik 's video for Grizzly Bear 's "Ready, Able" is online now, and its mesmerizing and hard-to-place sadness almost makes the all-out creepiness of Patrick ...

M.I.A. Working on "Gucci Mane Meets Animal Collective" Album (Pitchfork)

Up until now, psychedelic travelers Animal Collective and mushmouthed mixtape MVP Gucci Mane have had exactly two things in common: (1) Both of them sound like they've ingested mountains of illicit substances in their lifetimes, and (2) Zomby has remixed both of them. (Also, Gucci's line about how his little boy one but his shoes 400 isn't that thematically far from "My Girls". And if Animal ...

Video Premiere: Jarvis Cocker: "Further Complications" (Pitchfork)

Fans of Jarvis Cocker 's twitchy tics, beard, and glasses will find a lot to like about this new video for the title track from his recent Further Complications LP. It's pure, unfiltered Jarvis against a white background. At times, he gets stuck in a box or trapped between walls-- it's kind of like a more realistic, less hatted version of Jamiroquai's "Virtual Insanity" video . Watch the ...

Fun Fun Fun Fest Interview: Red Sparowes' Dave Clifford and Greg Burns (Austinist)

Michelle Pullman Lacking lyrics, Red Sparowes nonetheless have plenty to say. This instrumental rock band is erudite, expansive, and poised to release on their next album the culmination of their career evolution. On the eve of Fun Fun Fun Fest, our conversation with Dave Clifford (drums) and Greg Burns (bass/pedal steel) touched upon just about everything from Mao and the Sophists to the ...

Mirliton Festival (Tulane Hullabaloo)

This Saturday’s Mirliton Festival, located in the Bywater neighborhood, will feature a variety of genuine New Orleans music, food and culture. The Bywater neighborhood, located beside the Marigny past the French Quarter, is an oft-overlooked, old-school Creole neighborhood. The culturally-rich neighborhood is replete with Victorian homes and Mom-and-Pop groceries. Walking down its streets ...
