Is Procol Harum foremost progressive ? or are they simply categorized as classic rock.
I know I love them...Grand Hotel, Whaling Stories, Repent Walpurgis and such are very well written and sound hawfully progressive....what do you think? The Worm and the Tree, I believe from Something Magic album is another. John Lennon quoted Whiter Shade of Pale as out of this world...was it the precursor of things to come? Share your thoughts on this great band.....Oh...by the way...Gary Brooker IS from out of this world...lol
