tell us about yourself (favorite artists, albums, videos, great minds, influences and inspiration (not only related to music)
I was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on the Canadian prairies. I now reside in the beautiful province of British Columbia. I grew up listening to many great artists and bands. My earliest memories are Johnny Cash "Live at San Quentin", the Stampeders, Gordon Lightfoot, The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner-Overdrive, early April Wine, etc. I had the fortune of having friends in the mid '70's who turned me on to Alice Cooper, Rush, Max Webster, Yes, Genesis, Gentle Giant, Focus, Camel, Starcastle, Ian Thomas Band, and many others. I really took a liking to music from the UK (I am a big fan of Iona and Dave Bainbridge) and Europe. From there my love for music expanded to include the lush music from the romantic-era (Brahms, Wagner, etc), some jazz fusion (I especially enjoy Pat Metheny's style), etc. I think I am a Genesis fan at heart, though. This, of course, is not an exhaustive list...I am sure I have missed many artists that should be mentioned.

Augusta sounds absolutely beautiful to my ears. The arrangements fits like a glove as a base to the beautiful singing and voice of the vocalist!! pretty cool !! great studio production!

The Lamb Laid Down on MIDI blog

I recently visited a blog by a gentleman who has put a lot of time and work into creating midifiles for songs from The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway album by Genesis. Personally, I would rather put this kind of time into playing this music with other talented musicians but I can appreciate his attention to detail, which shows an honoring and depth of enjoyment of this classic album.
