hey Jeremy, if you like rare Genesis stuff check out GenesisLive.ning.com!! also I joined (yesterday) Meek's Live Genesis Cafe (again).. they moved to ning, I posted a blog about the old site earlier this year, the link redirects to the new one.
hey Jeremy, great soundboard rec of "The Lamb" Live! I have a couple of sb recs of that tour but the one you posted has a much clearer audio. btw, if you´re interested, the best soundboard recording / performance of "the lamb" Live I´ve heard so far was on David Raphael´s page on GenesisLive.ning, I´m not sure what concert it was, it´s not there anymore. check out his page here @ progrock.ning.com/profile/DavidRaphael and link to his page on GenesisLive.. :) ..
Those ZAAR and Miriodor are great! thanks for posting, and excuse my delay to write back to you..
exactly, Henry Cow + GG!! at least on this album (In Extremis) they sound a lot like a mix of both. I just discovered the band too Jeremy, glad you liked it! it was a great surprise listening to the album for the first time (thanks to our common friend HoxVox!!) .. btw, that´s one of the greatest things of this place, I´m always discovering great "new" stuff!! :) -- keep on proggin´ !!
Dry Ice by Electromagnets = awesome (as is the whole CD)! I heard this track in a Sam Goody years ago, was blown away by the drumming and asked the sales guy who was playing. He was a huge Eric Johnson fan and we must have spent about 40 minutes talking. I can't remember if they had the CD in stock or if it was ordered for me, but I got my copy. These days I mention the group to other musicians and prog fans every chance I get - wish they'd released more than the 1 disc.
