Victor Ingrassia's animation is a swirl of film, video and enriched digital painting. Doing what he calls "digital monk's work", his early explorations in experimental film, hand rotoscoped animation, audio collage, stereoscopic & hand colored photography, have evolved into ground breaking computer animation which cuts against the grain of much current digital animation. Victrolux Productions' "digital animation with an analog heart" has been used in narrative, documentary, music video, dance, theater, corporate and private projects, including the BBC mini series, "Gory Greek Gods". His work has screened in Atlanta, Berkeley, Boulder, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle. He has taught film at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
